Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for printing and packaging materials specific to the FMCG industry.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions that align with organizational procurement policies.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication and performance evaluation to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Utilize procurement software to track purchase orders, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement guidelines.
- Monitor market trends and material costs to develop and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Prepare procurement reports, analyze purchasing data, and present findings to management to support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, product quality concerns, and contract disputes promptly and professionally.
- Support audit processes by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating adherence to procurement standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes, enhance supplier performance, and increase operational efficiency.
